Megan Moroney just released a new album, “Cloud 9,” on February 20, 2026. “Cloud 9” is available to stream on all major music platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music. This country-pop genre album features 15 songs, with collabs such as Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves along with previously released tracks on this new album like “6 Months Later” and “Beautiful Things.”
This album is different from other albums released, sounding more positive and delving deeper into her emotions. The album is focused on love, and also some heartbreak, and trying to grow.
Moroney recently announced a 43-date tour for her new album, which will run through May until August 2026. Tickets went on sale December 12, 2025. Moroney’s last tour was in 2025 for her hit album “Am I Okay?” ending in October 2025.
Moroney is a rising country artist, with her breakthrough song in 2022, “Tennessee Orange.” She started her career in 2022 when she moved to Nashville. She has released three major albums, including “Cloud 9,” “Am I Okay?” and “Lucky.” Three of Moroney’s songs hit number one spots, including “Tennessee Orange,” “Am I Okay,” and “6 Months Later.”
Moroney recently won the Artist Spotlight Award at the She Is The Music “Sharing the Spotlight” event in February 2026. She also recently won Country Artist-Songwriter of the Year at the NMPA x Billboard Songwriter Awards in January 2026.
“Cloud 9” is projected to reach number one on Billboard 200, which would make this her first career number one album. Every song on this album has reached charts with high numbers within the first few days of the debut on Spotify, with the song “Medicine” having the most streams around 880,000, and has reached #15 on Spotify charts.
Overall, this is a good album that I personally like. I would recommend this country-pop album and I would recommend people to listen to this album if they like Sabrina Carpenter’s music for a more pop genre or Kelsea Ballerini who is a country pop singer.
