Baseball:
Key Returners: Seniors Braden Birdsley, Drew Nettleton, and Bryce Hartman

Senior Lincoln Davis stated that he “believes that we have a really good group of returning starters that can help us make a run. We also have a couple of young guys (sophomores Cale Nettleton and Tyler McCaferty) who are going to help fill in some spots the team may be short in.”
Softball:
Key Returners: Junior Mya Lira and senior Kaitlyn Taylor
Rivalries: Newman, Rock Falls, and United Township

Taylor stated that she “thinks the season is going to go well” and that they “already had a few unanticipated injuries.” She continued by saying that she “thinks the team will be able to bounce back from those and (they) have a few players filling in and trying new positions and (she) thinks they are handling it very well.”
Boys Track:
Key Returners: Senior Joseph Holcomb and Junior Maurice De La Cruz
Rivalries: United Township, Galesburg
Captains: Holcomb and Senior Cole Stumpenhorst
Stumpenhorst stated that the team is “really excited for this season” and “there’s a lot of talent on the team and a lot of people who really care about the team as a whole.” He concluded by stating that “all in all (he) thinks that the season will go really well.”
Girls Track:
Key Returners: Senior Presley Winters and junior Abby Ryan
Rivalries: Rock Falls, Dixon, and Geneseo

Winters shared about how she “thinks the season will go well considering a lot of (them) have trained over the winter to improve themselves for individual events and as a team.” She continued by saying “Everyone has been working hard at practices so far and (she’s) excited to see how the season will go.”
Boys Tennis:
Key Newcomers: Freshman Micah Peterson and Junior Jacob Maruffo
Rivalries: Geneseo, Moline, and Alleman

Head Coach Mike Gottemoeller said the program “graduated a lot of top talent over the last couple of years and are looking forward to a number of people stepping up and filling big roles for us on this team.” He continued by saying, “There will be a lot of competition for spots and it is wide open as to who will be coming back as well as some new younger players who can fill those positions.”
Girls Soccer:

Quote: Senior Adamari Gutierrez said that she “thinks losing some key players last year will cause us to have to work a little harder to get a rhythm going together. However, we have a good amount of returning players and freshmen who are willing to put the work in.”
