Starbucks Spicy Drink Review

Starbucks+Spicy+Drink+Review

Starbucks is one of the biggest coffee shops across the world, and recently came out with a variety of new drinks and food items. Opinions on the new drinks are varied as many don’t know whether to love them or hate them.

Starting out with their new spicy drinks, Starbucks has decided to add a kick to their famous refreshers. They are only here for a limited time and only available in their dragonfruit, pineapple, and strawberry refreshers.

Prices differ depending on which size you get like tall, grande, or venti. For a grande sized spicy refresher, it is $6.01.

Sophomore Lily Martinez said, “They were gross and too spicy.”

Customers not only love their refreshers but also their sandwiches. Along with their spicy drinks, they have also decided to add a kick to their sandwiches and wraps. There is now an option to add sriracha sauce to any of their sandwiches or wraps.

Sophomore Mackenzie Wolfe, who tried their sausage, cheddar, & egg sandwich with sriracha sauce, said, “This is my favorite sandwich to get from Starbucks and the sriracha sauce was nice to try.”

There are many mixed emotions on these new items at Starbucks but it ultimately depends on if you can handle spice or not.

On top of the new spicy items, Starbucks has also released a new line of lavender drinks. The new drinks consist of a Lavender Crème Frappuccino, a Lavender Cream Oatmilk Matcha, a Lavender Oatmilk Latte, and a Lavender Oatmilk Chill.

These drinks can be served warm or iced and are also customizable just like the rest of their drinks.

Sophomore Jaelynn James, who recently tried their Lavender Oatmilk Chill, shared, “It was actually good.”

Overall, Starbucks is onto bigger and better things with these new additions to their menu and you should definitely give them a try.
