As prom is approaching, it means that many school events are taking place. This year is the first annual tradition for prom dress up days the week before prom.
This year’s prom dress up days have been announced for “Meet Me At Midnight.” The week of prom contains themes each day for students to enjoy and await for that Saturday. Starting on April 28 through May 2, here are some ideas as to what you can wear!
Monday, 4/28: Space Jam, wear your favorite jersey or other sports gear. Recreate a look from theTune Squad for an extra flare! (Culver’s ice cream will be served during both lunches at the Compass).
Tuesday, 4/29: Compete by grade levels and wear your era.
Freshmen- 1970s Students can wear bold colors and denim!
Sophomore- 1980s Students can wear big hair and neon colors!
Juniors- 1990s Students can wear a casual outfit and flannel shirt!
Seniors- 2000s Students can wear jeans and a plain t-shirt!
Wednesday 4/30: Celebrate the iconic movie “Mean Girls” and wear pink in the middle of the week! (This is also the day of the dodgeball tournament at 6:30 p.m. in the S.H.S. Fieldhouse).
Thursday 5/1: Do you prefer daylight’s warm and bright tones or the night sky’s dark and shiny glow? Sun vs. Moon!
Friday 5/2: Star in your best Golden Warrior outfit to shine before the big day! (Friday Night Relays at Roscoe Eades Stadium).
Senior Finley Ryan expressed, “I am most excited for the dress your era day because I like the style of the 2000s!”
