Publications teacher Jennifer Drew talked about how she would like help during the holidays. “I would love to have assistance for wrapping gifts because it’s stressful and I lose things,” Drew shared.
Volunteering is one way to help, many organizations need extra help during the holidays. Going to charity events can help you and your community help out those in need as well as participating in community events like walks or parades. Donating warm clothes, toys, or food to a local shelter can give others a chance to have a good holiday season as well.
Helping with gifts and decorating are a huge part of holidays and can be stressful for adults. Going out and getting presents for your family is a great way to help them out. Assisting with decorating inside and outside of your house, whether it’s lights or decorating a tree, anything is a huge help and will be greatly appreciated. Showing your support during the holidays teaches valuable lessons for friends and family, fulfilling you and people around you
Some ways you can help your family is babysitting, shoveling, and cooking. Helping out with babysitting gives family members a chance to get any aarons done during the busy holiday season. Shoveling is a must with the weather getting colder and snow starting to fall, helping out with that is an easy way to help around. And finally cooking, around the holidays you’re probably going to be around family and you know there’s gonna be food, helping cooking or baking will ease stress and help the holidays move smoothly.

Molina said, “I like to help with baking and wrapping christmas presents for my mom, it gives me time to bond with my mom.”
There are many ways that you can help out and weather it by helping out in the kitchen, attending charity events, or helping out your family. Doing small acts of kindness helps your loved ones and yourself. Making a difference in your community will help strengthen all around you.
