Rock Falls, Illinois, has a fun, family oriented pumpkin patch for the fall season. Selmi’s has been around for years, but has always been on 1206 Dixon Avenue, Rock Falls.

  Selmi’s Pumpkin Patch is a fourth generation family-owned business. They not only have the pumpkin patch but also have a large farm and business where they harvest and sell goods throughout the year.

  Selmi’s is similar to other pumpkin patches because they have so many fall festivities for kids. They are different in a way because it is very cheap, since it’s only an eight dollar admission to enjoy the day there with your family. 

 The reviews of Selmi’s are great because they are a very happy, and family friendly place for children to have fun during the fall weather. They have an overall rating of four-point-seven stars, with great written reviews.

  Senior Delali Amankwa said, “This place would be perfect for a family fun day. They have amazing apple cider and donuts. It was perfect for pictures and great for a local pumpkin patch.” 

  They have many things for kids to do like a haunted house, a petting zoo, a jumbo slide, a corn maze, and of course purchasing pumpkins. It is a very calming and friendly environment; there are also perfect fall treats and snacks to also purchase while there.

  Senior Kaitlyn Taylor said, “It was a fun fall environment. They had a lot of stuff to do, especially for kids and they had good options for snacks and were surprisingly really cheap”.

  A great aspect of Selmis is the safe environment for kids while parents can relax. Selmis brings a fun fall event to the local area, as we do not have anything like it throughout Sterling and Rock Falls.
