Every year the S.H.S. cheer team has a kiddie camp that is taught by the cheerleaders. This camp is K-8th grade, these groups are split K-2nd, 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th. The theme for this camp is “Cheer for a Cure.” This theme is different from any other kiddie camp theme Sterling High School has had by making this kiddie camp a cancer fundraiser.
Each grade level had to come up with a raffle basket to raffle off during the home football games on Friday, October 18. Tickets to the raffle will be sold during both games until halftime of the varsity game. The prices for the raffle tickets to drop into the basket or baskets of choice are $1 for 1, 6 for $5, and arm’s length for $10.
The freshman basket consists of a pink Owala water bottle, a $15 Airplay gift card, and a B’lush Salon gift card.
The sophomore basket includes a yoga mat, yoga block, a pink fanny pack, a gallon water bottle, a bottle shaker, a Mandy Raes gift card, and a $15 Airplay gift card.
The junior basket includes a Wahl Clipper hoodie, candy, Wahl trimmer clippers, a Mandy Rae’s gift card, and an Airplay gift card.
The senior basket consists a “think pink” shirt, a Bartini’s cooshie with a $20 gift card, a $15 Airplay gift card, an Amika shampoo and conditioner set with a hair mask, lLotto scratch off tickets, a $40 gift card to Darla White, a gift card to Mandy Rae’s, a $15 gift card to Airplay, Alani energy drinks, makeup erasers, candy, a pink Owala water bottle, and a pink keychain.
All the money raised from selling raffle tickets will go to pink heals.We hope to see you at the game to support how hard these girls have been working on this camp and hope to stop and take a look at this great raffle we will be hosting.
