Friday night lights have just begun and it can be difficult figuring out how to incorporate the theme in your outfit. In order to plan correctly, the dates and themes of home games are listed below.
August 30th vs Metamora: Welcome to the Jungle/Animal Print
The student section wore various animal prints and animal costumes. Some people even dressed up as a tour guide of a jungle.
September 6 vs Niles: Beach/Lifeguard
Beach theme must be school appropriate. Students could wear a floral button up, lifeguard clothing, and to add on students could wear sunglasses, a hat, and/or sandals.
September 13 vs United Township: Black out
Black out theme is pretty self explanatory, students can wear anything in the color black.
October 4 vs Geneseo: Pink out (HOCO game)
Similar to the blackout theme, for pink out students can wear anything in any shade of pink. Some students might add on a pink tutu to have some extra spirit.
October 18 vs Rock Island: Construction Zone
For the construction zone theme, the majority of students will wear neon colored construction worker vests. However, if you don’t have a vest you can wear something neon.
Senior Brinley Francis expresses that she is “most excited to see everyone’s outfits and how they choose to express themselves through the chosen theme.”
Just a reminder that in the high school student section, students must be respectful to the other teams, dress in theme, and use a clear bag while in S.H.S. facilities and stadium. Go Warriors!
