Spring fashion in action

Spring+fashion+in+action

Although the weather has been colder than normal at this time of year, spring fashion is right around the corner full of different types of clothing ready for the warm weather.

Spring is correlated with florals, pastel colors, dresses, shorts, t-shirts and sweatshirts. The mornings in spring are always colder, so hoodies and crewnecks are always a great option for that cool morning. Sweatshirts and crewnecks are not only for the mornings but also for the night. Having a bonfire at night with a crewneck and shorts is the perfect combination to stay cool but not get too warm.

“I like clothes that are warm but not too warm like shorts with a sweatshirt,” sophomore Mia Rodriguez shared.

There are many combinations that would be good together. Jean shorts, leggings, skirts, or jeans can go with a cute top or t-shirt. Floral dresses are a great way to dress up without doing too much. Dresses like those are simple and easy to style.

Shoes are always a good part of an outfit. Birkenstocks are a very popular shoe that many people wear during spring.

Junior Carmen Camacho said, “My go-to shoe in the spring I would have to say is Birkenstocks.”

Converse is another big shoe band many people love to wear; they have many different styles and colors fit for spring.

Spring and winter fashion are very different from each other. Spring fashion has pastel colors and floral designs, while winter has cooler tones in addition to the traditional Christmas red and green.

Many people wear multiple layers to keep warm during the winter.

“I think the biggest clothing change from winter to spring is losing the bulk and layers; less jackets and coats for in turn more flowy clothes,” said junior Zackery Koppien.

Spring is a time to bring back all of the clothes for warm sunny weather and leave the coats and sweatpants for winter.
