Taylor Swift’s Era Tour

This year, Taylor Swift will travel across the country performing her “Era’s Tour.” Swift announced her tour in November of 2022, 11 days after she released her newest album “Midnights.” This tour will be her first since her Reputation Tour in 2018.

The tour includes songs from all of her albums. Swift produced her first album in 2006, so this tour includes songs from the past 17 years. While all her albums are included, songs from Swift’s “Evermore,” “Folklore,” “Lover,” and “Midnights” are played the most.

Taylor is doing over 50 shows in the United States as part of her North America tour. The location closest to Sterling is Soldier Field in Chicago, Ill. Swift will perform in Chicago this summer on June second, third, and fourth.

Swift opened up her tour in Arizona. Attendees of the opener recorded and shared information about her concert. This first show included 44 songs and 16 costume changes over the course of three hours.

Sterling High School junior Emily Huffman is planning on attending Swift’s tour later this year. Huffman spent around six hours in the queue waiting on her tickets. In order to prevent having the show spoiled for her, Huffman has been avoiding information shared on social media.

Most fans are dressing up in attire that represent Swift’s different albums or eras. Huffman is “trying to decide between Folklore and Lover” as her era to dress up as.

S.H.S. teacher and girls basketball coach Taylor Jackson was lucky enough that library aide Sira Gaffey was “like a fairy godmother” when she got tickets for Jackson and her daughter. Jackson’s daughter who is in second grade is looking forward to the concert and even dressed up Taylor for “favorite musician day.”

Everyone in the Taylor community is looking forward to the experience of the concert and sharing the moment with their friends and family.
