Entertainment review: “Spider-man: No Way Home”

With much anticipation, “Spider-man: No Way Home” was released December 17, 2021.

With a 4.8 rating and 98% Rotten Tomatoes score, “Spider-man: No Way Home” was one of the best movies of 2021. In his third movie as Spider-man, Peter Parker was played by actor Tom Holland. His girlfriend and best friend in the movie Michelle Jones-Watson is played by Zendaya Coleman.

The movie starts out with the world finding out Peter Parker’s true identity at the end of the second movie “Spider-man: Far From Home,” Mysterio reveals Peter’s identity. When the world finds out who Spiderman is, Parker becomes worried for himself and his loved ones because people will go after people he knows and loves to get to him.

Peter starts to get worried and goes to Dr. Strange who could cast a spell on the world to make everyone forget who Spiderman is. However, Peter Parker doesn’t want his friends and aunt to forget who Spiderman is so he changes Dr. Strange’s spell and it ends up backfiring on the city of New York. It lets loose some of Spiderman’s greatest foes in the city and spiderman has to find them and save New York City.

This movie has suspense and some action. Peter has to save his future and the multiverse from the villains. This movie gives me so much nostalgia it brings me back to the comic books and the first Spiderman movies with Tobey McGuire playing Peter Parker.

“Spiderman No Way Home” is a great movie for all different age groups. If you grew up watching Spiderman, then you will enjoy this movie. If you just started watching Spiderman, it may be a little hard to understand the plot, but you will still really enjoy this movie.
